Graham Nicholas worked with MEO Australia to produce their new office in Level 23, 500 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Front and back of house areas are unified through consistency in colour, detailing and graphics. The contrast of materials and textures evident in the fit out are sophisticated whilst the overall palette is bright, energetic and fun. Shadow lines and kick plates are finished in mirror, providing depth and an illusion of floating elements. Graphics applied to glass partitions, and feature walls through panelling, provide movement and interest throughout the office.
Upon entering MEO's new office, you are faced with a dynamic and compelling interior. The front of house area is well-defined through high gloss and reflective wall panels and rectilinear feature lights. Interactive writing wall finish surfaces to back of house work areas, creating visual interest. Colourful joinery and interactive plants to storage units create focal points, and assist in breaking up open work areas.
The staff breakout accommodates a diverse rage of activities from internal meeting and/or a space for staff to rest and recharge. The staff breakout area is consistent with the remaining part of the office providing a space that is animated but functional
