The Institute of Public Accountants, one of Australia’s oldest professional bodies, partnered with Graham Nicholas to redesign their Melbourne office after a decade in the same space. The brief called for a reimagined public members’ area, maintaining key training rooms and facilities, while replacing underutilized meeting spaces with an open catering kitchen and a welcoming members’ lounge.
This new space features flexible meeting areas, touch-down desks for visiting members, and seamless integration of reception, training breakout, and self-service catering. The boardroom was relocated to double as a meeting space, while work areas were refreshed with new furniture, carpets, and greenery, all completed within a live environment.
