Graham Nicholas assisted Nexus Energy in creating and project managing their new office on Level 23, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne. The project was completed in May 2011.

The reception area reflects quality and style providing an impressive arrival space for clients. Contemporary high gloss surfaces compliment refined stone finishes. Simultaneously a red feature panelled wall created interest and vibrancy to the overall front of house area.

A light and animated staff breakout area, provides employees with an informal space to collaborate with others. Timber floor boards, and large cushions scattered in a loose fashion across banquette seating provides a feeling of warmth. Whilst bright accent colours and triangular forms integrated within ceiling and floor details create energy and movement.

Predominant finishes to work areas remain understated but exude warmth and sophistication. Concurrently eccentric light fittings and floor lamps provide a subtle contrast to the neutral interior palette.
