
The bench seating in reception has been boxed out with a glossy black paint finish, creating a frame for the fabric wall panelling behind. The classic “Walter Knoll Turtle” waiting room chairs are upholstered in yellow leather providing a stunning contrast to the neutral and dark finishes in this space.
Clever lighting design has been adopted to comply with the new building code by using energy efficient task lighting to the “back of house”, still allowing for feature lighting to be used in the “front of house” areas, thereby enhancing the contemporary environment and its detailed elements. A fresh neutral and timeless palette has been used in the “back of house” spaces broken up with vibrant colour introduced by using bright yellow mobile pedestals and storage units.
The workstations are located around the glass to enable the staff to enjoy the natural light. The library creates a stunning focal point to “back of house”. Eco friendly open timber shelving, solid timber table are both complemented by feature lighting.
A trendy bar style breakout area has been designed for all the staff to enjoy. The lounge chairs are a stand out, upholstered in the “Paul Smith Stripe” fabric. These combined with the use of other fun and contemporary furniture pieces, light fittings, trendy wall paper, stone island bench and vinyl flooring, creates a functional and comfortable space which can be utilised for stand up staff and visitor functions.
