Located on the first floor of the first & oldest refurbished CBD Office Building in Australia to achieve a Green Star rating, the Rundles Chartered Accountants brief was to provide a simple & organised new office environment with ample storage for their hard files.

Where possible, existing furniture was reused and cleverly integrated with the newer pieces. The open plan general workspace uses a calming palette of blue and white textures. Partner Offices, although placed on the Collins Street façade, do not inhibit the tree lined street views available from the first floor. Overall, a light and spacious natural aspect creates a bright, fresh and comfortable working environment.

Large base-building feature lights in the foyer created a challenge for the placement of signage, and were well considered when viewed from within the Rundles waiting area. Their impact influenced the clean lines of the meeting room timber panelled doors, the sleek integration of crisp whiteboards detailed within the white wall panelling and the minimal impact of the clear cluster of pendant lights over reception counter. By keeping the reception area looking sleek and minimal, the feature light pendants create a stunning focal point when looking out of the space.
