The approach to reception and front of house activities from the lift lobby captures the spectacular vista over Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, Southbank and to the Bay beyond which visitors and staff are able to enjoy.

The slightly skewed geometry inspired by the direction of the views adds interest and delivers dynamics to this space. From the main reception area a set of formal meeting spaces were positioned to the south side reception

whilst the informal meeting and breakout areas adjoin opposite.

The remainder of the cellular spaces, including storage, IT and quite rooms were confined to the central core which effectively released the rest of the floor for open plan work-stations. This concept was to reflect the Company’s professional image through a monochromatic palette, contrasted by the warmth of strong timber features interacting with lighting.

This theme is continued throughout all work spaces with splashes of colour to animate specific areas. Each space is further defined by use of strong linear elements both horizontally and vertically.
