Client Brief: The spectacular vista over Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, Southbank and beyond was a key highlight of this space and formed an integral part of the brief, ensuring the design approach of the Reception and front of house maximised and encapsulated the best of these views.
Results:
- The Reception layout has been deliberately geometrically offset, inspired by the direction of the views which adds interest and delivers dynamics to this space.
- The storage and utility spaces including the Server Room and Quiet Rooms were confined to the central core which effectively released the rest of the floor for open plan work-stations.
