When Southern Cross Austereo sought to modernise their Cairns office, they envisioned a space that fostered connection and embraced the spirit of Far North Queensland. Graham Nicholas delivered an open-plan workspace that brought teams together, replacing the fragmented layout of the pre-digital era. Internal meeting rooms were strategically placed for seamless access to on-air studios, now front-of-house with windows and views.

A spacious breakout area with an adjoining kitchen became the heart of the office, perfect for team gatherings and client events. Inspired by the tropical landscape, materials feature Spotted Gum timber, vibrant blues, and lush greens throughout.
